Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and virtualization systems
Ensure the stability, performance, and security of systems and networks through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver effective technology solutions
Develop and implement infrastructure strategies, standards, and best practices to optimize system performance and reliability
Manage and support cloud-based infrastructure services and platforms
Perform regular system audits, security assessments, and risk analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience of IT infrastructure
Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users to resolve infrastructure-related issues
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain an accurate and comprehensive knowledge base
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in IT Systems Infrastructure Engineering or a related role
Strong knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and management
Proficiency in server administration, virtualization technologies, and storage systems
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and learn new skills
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are preferred
Familiarity with ITIL processes and practices is a plus
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable and resilient IT infrastructure solutions
Experience with DevOps practices and tools is an advantage
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
