Sr HR Benefits & Data Administrator

SPS Companies, Inc is seeking a Sr HR Benefits & Data Administrator who will work with various business partners to manage HR responsibilities related to benefits, analytics, payroll, and overall HR administration. This role involves generating reports, managing benefit enrollments, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Responsibilities

Generates and analyzes monthly and quarterly reporting packages through the Innovu health analytics engine in order to identify aggregated trends and opportunities for improvement
Analyzes monthly medical plan and prescription plan reporting from the SPS broker, TPA, and PBM
Presents quarterly benefit plan analyses and improvement recommendations to the Vice President of Human Resources and annually to the company Benefits Committee
Leads the creation of benefit carrier file feeds and eligibility files ensuring accuracy and timeliness; manages the ongoing maintenance and upload/download of all files and file feeds
Leads the annual ACA 1095-B and 1095-C reporting processes in consultation with the Payroll and Benefits Lead
Administers and processes all monthly new hire benefit enrollments and life events
Provides excellent service and support to HR representatives, company managers, and employees regarding all employee benefit questions and/or problems
Partners with the Payroll and Benefits Lead to set up and administer annual benefits open enrollment
Serves as the overall program manager for company-wide biometric screenings including serving as the primary point of contact with all third-party providers as well as HR representatives across the company
Serves as the overall program manager for company-wide service awards including serving as the primary point of contact with all third-party providers as well as HR representatives across the company
Serves as the primary report writer for HR in the UKG Pro Business Intelligence platform
Administers all Family Medical Leave, short-term disability, and long-term disability requests and ensures excellent coordination with the third-party carrier and all HR representatives across the company
Responsible for fully administering the weekly company-wide payroll once per month with direction from the Payroll and Benefits Lead
Serves as backup for weekly time management administration and payroll administration in the absence of the Payroll and Benefits Lead
Serves as the project manager for the implementation of newly acquired companies coming onto SPS HR payroll, technology, policies, programs, and benefits
Assists Payroll and Benefits Lead with year-end HR processes as requested
Serves as a backup for the HR Administrator to ensure all job descriptions are documented and uploaded in Teams, UKG Pro, & SharePoint in the absence of the HR Administrator
Serves as a backup for the HR Administrator to post new jobs, keep existing requisitions moving, and generate offer letters in the absence of the HR Administrator
Serves as a backup for the HR Administrator to keep all pre-hire and onboarding processes moving forward in the absence of the HR Administrator
Collaborates with the HR Administrator to track and report on new hire onboarding activities and onboarding surveys; analyzes results for trends and presents recommendations for improvement
Serves as a backup for the Payroll and Benefits Lead for reconciling and processing benefit carrier bills to ensure accuracy and prompt payments

Required

3 years of professional experience with HRIS reporting, payroll, or benefits administration

Preferred

Job related experience in Human Resources
5+ years of experience working with the UKG Pro HRIS platform
5+ years of direct experience administering payroll
5+ years of direct HRIS experience
5+ years of direct experience with business intelligence & report writing (UKG uses the IBM Cognos product)
5+ years of direct experience administering employee benefits
5+ years of direct experience administering ACA 1095-B/C reporting
5+ years of direct experience planning and managing large complex projects
Previous experience working with Microsoft Power BI
Advanced data analysis skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
