Scientist, Cell Biology & Screening
e184 is a biotechnology research company advancing in vitro gametogenesis to transform reproductive medicine. They are seeking an independent scientist to lead high-throughput screening campaigns aimed at identifying factors that control cellular differentiation programs, working collaboratively within a mission-driven team.
Biotechnology
Responsibilities
Contribute to breakthrough technologies in cellular biology with potential to transform human health
Work on challenging scientific problems at the forefront of stem cell biology and functional genomics
Take scientific ownership of critical projects from conception through execution
Gain experience spanning screening, genome editing, assay development, and computational analysis - building a diverse skill set valuable across the biotech industry
Work alongside domain-expert scientists and computational biologists in a highly collaborative, mission-driven culture where your contributions directly shape company direction
This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of target discovery-from high-throughput screening through mechanistic validation-as well as opportunities to develop leadership skills, and contribute to scientific publications and patent applications
As the company grows, there are clear paths to senior scientist and project leadership roles
Hands-on involvement in building experimental platforms and workflows from the ground up rather than inheriting established systems; direct collaboration with founders and leadership team; opportunity to wear multiple hats and develop skills across experimental and computational domains; work in a well-funded startup
