Salesforce System Administrator

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user access, security, configuration, reports, dashboards, and declarative automation
Triage, prioritize, and resolve Salesforce support requests through Jira Service Management, providing clear and timely communication to stakeholders
Design, build, test, and maintain Salesforce configuration and automation (Flows, validation rules, approval processes), troubleshooting issues in production
Execute and validate configuration changes in sandbox environments and support production deployments, including off-hours releases when required
Partner with the Salesforce Architect and cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, support larger initiatives, and continuously improve Salesforce processes
Maintain documentation, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and proactively monitor system health and data quality

Required

3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience supporting production environments
Strong experience with Salesforce declarative tools, particularly Flow, permissions, and automation best practices
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce configuration and data issues in a live environment
Solid understanding of Salesforce data model concepts, security, and access controls
Experience managing work through a ticketing or request system (Jira or similar)
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to support off-hours deployments as needed

Preferred

Salesforce Administrator certification
Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I)
Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools such as Copado or Gearset
Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; exposure to Data Cloud or Agentforce is a plus
Experience supporting Salesforce integrations and working in a high-growth technology environment
