InternThe University of Nebraska Foundation is dedicated to changing and saving lives through education. They are seeking a Legal Intern to assist the General Counsel group with legal research, writing, and compliance in various areas while gaining meaningful in-house legal work experience.

Responsibilities
Assist the General Counsel group with legal research, writing, and compliance in the areas of real estate, tax, contracts, estate planning, legislation, corporate governance, insurance, and post-secondary education
Work independently and have strong legal writing and analytical skills
Assist with greeting donors and guests, while providing back-up support in our reception areas when needed
Special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current student status as a J.D. Candidate at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln
Demonstrated communication, writing, and editing skills
Excellent project management and time management skills and abilities
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and aptitude to learn new technologies or databases
Capable of handling confidential and sensitive materials
