Responsibilities
Make cold calls/emails daily to engage prospects and build your pipeline
Nurture long-term leads with consistent follow-up, patience, and persistence
Act as a brand advocate for the Harbor lifestyle — embodying and sharing the resort experience with prospects
Master multiple floor plans and the custom construction process, becoming fluent in materials, timelines, advantages, and design opportunities
Conduct tours of the resort and homes, helping prospects emotionally connect with Heritage Harbor
Write contracts, manage negotiations, and guide clients through successful closings
Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the sales team
Focus primarily on connecting buyers to developer and builder offerings, while occasionally supporting resale activity or marketing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Previous sales experience required (real estate, automotive, financial services, or other consultative sales preferred)
Strong people skills: ability to connect, inspire confidence, and foster emotional buy-in
Skilled in phone presence, cold calling, CRM usage, and negotiation
Patient, self-motivated, and resilient — comfortable with long sales cycles
Able to work every-other weekend and occasional evenings
Ability to commute to Ottawa, IL 61350 (Required)
Preferred
Licensed real estate agent preferred, or ability/willingness to obtain Illinois license within 12 months
Sales experience: 3 years (Preferred)
