National Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve occupancy, average daily rate and market share goals, and drive revenue growth
Identify and secure new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and exceeding sales targets
Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, account management, sales forecasting and negotiating and closing deals with key clients, ensuring profitable outcomes
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, building brand awareness and generating leads
Collaborate with other departments, such as Catering, operations, marketing, and revenue management, to ensure a cohesive and effective sales approach
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to sales and marketing activities while achieving budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximizing profitability within all areas of responsibility
Work closely with the Director of Hotel Sales & Revenue Management in training & developing the Sales team, in developing a Sales Budget and in administrative duties as directed
