This role involves partnering closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to triage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive configuration and process improvements.

Responsibilities
Serve as a functional SME for JDE, owning incident triage, functional troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution coordination across business and IT
Analyze whether issues are functional/process vs. technical/infrastructure, and route appropriately to development/CNC teams
Manage priorities across multiple tickets, balancing speed, risk, and business impact in a live environment
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements
Translate business needs into system requirements and functional specifications for fixes and enhancements
Recommend process improvements and system configurations that reduce manual effort and increase reliability
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience as a JD Edwards Functional Consultant supporting business-critical processes (production support + enhancements)
Proven ability to analyze requirements, write functional specs, and drive solutions with cross-functional teams
Excellent troubleshooting mindset-able to operate in a legacy/custom environment with imperfect documentation
Strong communication skills: can translate between business users and technical teams and provide clear status updates
Preferred
Deep functional strength in one or more: Finance (e.g., GL/AP/AR/FA) or Manufacturing functional support
Additionally valuable: Distribution (e.g., Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order), especially where -Distribution Suite- modules are in scope
