Key Account Manager
National Air Cargo is focused on providing tailored shipping solutions and is seeking a Key Account Manager to build and sustain relationships with existing customers. The role involves driving growth through strategic account planning, maintaining customer accounts, and ensuring service levels are met while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities
Support in house customer base, drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building
Oversee customer accounts that require a high level of attention to detail on a consistent basis
Provide solutions to National Air Cargo customers which includes sea, air and land transports. Offer tailormade solutions
Maintains relationships with customers and National Air Cargo employees to stay informed on the latest news and destinations that may be of importance in the future
Design and present tailored presentations to prospective and existing customers effectively communicating National’s capabilities with the goal to gain customer trust and win their business
Conduct daily outreach to potential customers through phone calls and targeted communication
Work closely with Operations and Customer Service Department to ensure customer’s needs and required service level is met
Communicates regularly with Operations and other departments at all National locations
Manage customer quotes
Maintain a working knowledge of domestic and international freight routing
Maintain a working knowledge of Military freight systems
Occasional travel for customer visits, meetings, presentations, and conferences
Coordination of special projects as defined by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in business administration or relevant field
1-2 years work experience in sales or comparable occupation
Willingness to occasionally travel, approximately 5% travel
Flexibility to work extra hours as needed
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs
Experienced with using Power Point to create impactful customer presentations
Ability to implement and learn new and emerging technology tools
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
Skilled in fostering strong client relationships
Comfortable with telephone communication
Inside sales: 2 years (Required)
