Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A transactions for utility‑scale solar and storage project acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic partnerships
Manage the internal underwriting process, including building and optimizing project financial models with support from junior team members and subject matter experts
Coordinate due diligence activities using both internal and external resources
Support negotiation of definitive transaction documentation
Prepare and present executive‑ and board‑level approval materials for investment decisions
Partner with cross‑functional teams to negotiate major project contracts, including offtake, procurement, and EPC agreements
Provide analytical support by translating commercial contracts into dynamic financial models and running sensitivities for PPA pricing
Review commercial terms and balance obligations across contracts, including schedules, performance guarantees, and liquidated damages

Required

5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in quantitative roles supporting utility‑scale solar and storage project investment decisions
Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a quantitative discipline
Demonstrated M&A experience involving utility‑scale solar and storage project or portfolio acquisitions
Advanced Excel skills and ability to build, validate, and sensitize complex project finance models (construction debt, term debt, tax equity, preferred equity, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience supporting investment and approval processes
Highly motivated, resourceful, and able to excel in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work from the Washington, DC office at least 3+ days per week
Willingness to travel up to 15%
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
