Responsibilities
Implement data quality and validation measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data stored in Snowflake
Develop high scale and distributed systems and implement functions, stored procedures, complex SQL, and performance tuning
Conduct data mining and extract to transform and load data using databases with large-scale and complex datasets
Assess queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting
Optimize ongoing processes to reduce data processing time and monthly expenditures and convert full data load to incremental
Troubleshoot systems to reconcile revenues, taxes, and product profitability in the data-warehouse against heterogeneous source systems
Utilize MySQL and Oracle databases, Powercenter Informatica for ETL, Unix for scripting, and AWS for on demand cloud computing
Integrate enhancements and perform regression and integration testing to migrate code to all environments, capturing evidence, and maintaining track on Microsoft Office
Qualification
Required
Master's in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field or equivalent
three (3) years of experience developing high scale and distributed systems
implementing functions, stored procedures, complex SQL, and performance tuning
conducting data mining and extract to transform and load data using databases with large-scale and complex datasets
assessing queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting
optimizing ongoing processes to reduce data processing time and monthly expenditures and convert full data load to incremental
