Responsibilities
Create, test, and deploy API proxies, policies, and shared flows within Apigee
Implement authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SAML
Manage Apigee X/Hybrid/Edge environments, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance optimization
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated API deployment
Maintain technical documentation for API designs, configurations, and API portal documentation
Qualification
Required
8+ years in API management, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Apigee
Proficiency in RESTful API design, OAuth, JSON, XML, Java, Python, or JavaScript
Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools like Terraform
Experience with Git, Postman, Splunk, and Apigee analytics
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Strong knowledge of the latest Google Cloud Apigee versions
Developing reusable components for security, logging, and traffic management
Setting up monetization models and analytics for API products
