Responsibilities
Develop project scope of work for capital and improvement projects
Create mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD
Lead machine design and installation from concept through commissioning
Manage 3–5 projects simultaneously, overseeing full lifecycle execution
Ensure all designs comply with applicable regulatory and safety codes
Coordinate with maintenance teams, technicians, vendors, and equipment suppliers
Communicate and collaborate with electrical engineers to support machine controls and automation
Provide clear technical guidance and direction during installation and startup
Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong experience with machine design and installation
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working in an industrial environment with temperature variations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
BS or BA in Mechanical Engineering
