Model Optimization: Dive into and analyze the existing, highly complex Excel distribution model. Identify, "unwind," and simplify complicated formulas to improve model efficiency, speed, and ease of operation
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Extract, interpret, and present historical data related to investor profiles, fund performance, and other key metrics for current and potential investors
Analytical Support: Provide ad-hoc analytical support and data interpretation to the team, focusing on the numbers and data-driven insights
Documentation: Clearly document the revised model structure, formulas, and operation process for long-term internal maintenance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Expert-Level Excel Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, modeling best practices, data management, and optimization techniques
Real Estate Fund Accounting Knowledge: Deep understanding of fund accounting principles specific to real estate, including distribution waterfall calculations
