New Grad, Entry LevelIdaho Milk Products is seeking a Packaging Operator to support the Packaging team in packaging and storing products. The role involves ensuring compliance with documentation and safety regulations while performing various packaging-related tasks.

Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and maintain Packaging Log Sheets
Conduct daily audits of CCP charts Metal Detection
File all charts, log sheets, and production documents with precision
Maintain Metal Detector charts and Metal Detector Log Sheets
Track and record Animal Feed weights by product
Demonstrate strong work ethics and foster a culture of teamwork
Adhere to all plant, OSHA, and Safety Regulations
Transfer finished product from the palletizing room to the Warehouse
Scan packaged products into the inventory management system
Inspect all product packaging for defects
Perform any other projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work-related experience
Able to work in teams effectively and encourage a positive work environment
Willingness to learn new concepts and embrace change
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of ensuring timely, accurate, and complete documentation
Ability to complete pre-operational checks on all equipment
Reliable work ethic and a sense of responsibility
Strong interpersonal, decision-making, critical thinking, and time management skills
Attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities
Good interpersonal skills
Excessive ascending and descending of ladders and stairs using feet and legs and hands and arms regularly
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances regularly
Repetitive motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time on concrete
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist on a regular basis
Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction
Pushing: Using the upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward
Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion
Kneeling: Bending legs at the knee to come to rest on the knee or knees occasionally
Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine
Lifting: Able to lift up to 55lbs on a regular basis, up to 60lbs occasionally
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Includes activities in which they must accurately, loudly, or quickly convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers
Subject to up to at least 92db's
Subject to temperatures up to 90 degrees
Office machines (e.g., personal computer, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, and phone)
Various packaging equipment including powder storage bins, transfer lines, hoppers, bagging equipment, metal detection equipment, inkjets, palletizer, stretch wrappers, fork-lifts, dock doors, dock levelers, and hand tools
