Responsibilities
Work with Business Analysts to translate requirements and user stories into technical specifications, release plans, and functioning software solutions
Apply the appropriate standards, secure coding practices, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle
Analyze, design, develop, and implement new and existing integrations to various business applications within the architecture. Development will include interface and integration work in Anypoint Platform™ and deploying to MuleSoft CloudHub tenants
Identify and develop technical alternatives, improvements, and enhancements in support of key integrations to applications Salesforce and 3rd party providers
Provide MuleSoft technical expertise when evaluating and designing integration solutions ensuring all components and subsystems impacted are properly addressed during business application build and deployment
With little supervision, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software for integration processes that range in complexity from low to high with documentation of technical design details
Write, debug and unit test complicated code fairly independently including author and execute unit testing strategies and results related to all development efforts
Communicate information regularly, clearly, and effectively to impacted internal and client stakeholders throughout the duration of the program on technical matters and technology to include design, development, delivery progress, and completion
Maintain knowledge level about new and emerging technologies and/or methodologies
Additional responsibilities as needed to support client and internal team release management needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
2+ years of experience working on Integration technologies with hands-on development experience on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform™ (3.x)
3+ years of experience in web application development and programming in AJAX and JavaScript
2+ years experience programming with the following languages, Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL, Oracle, and their use in the development of CRM solutions
2+ years of experience with web application development, including (X)HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion
4+ years of software development experience including all aspects of the system implementation process of system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and support
3+ years experience with enterprise integration technologies, paradigms, patterns and designs
2+ years of hands-on experience using Mule ESB and SOA/EAI technologies and API management, MuleSoft - ESB Enterprise Edition, CloudHub with experience of server administration and cloud deployment
Experience in the full development lifecycle of public and private enterprise services using RAML and/or REST based APIs
Experience in integrating various SaaS applications (Salesforce, Workday, etc) and on-prem applications such as SAP, Oracle, SQL Databases, custom .NET/JAVA applications
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle using Agile software development methodology (preferred) and comfortable working with JIRA, contributing to Story grooming, estimation, and updating assigned stories appropriately
Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, XSLT, WS-, SOA/Integration, and API Management technologies and standards Experience with using a JAVA IDE (Eclipse, Intelli J, Netbeans)
Strong knowledge of EAI/SOA best practices, development methodologies & standards (e.g. RESTFul, SOAP, xml, json, AMQP, JMS, delimited, OAUTH)
Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Subversion, Git, Bamboo, Octopus, Artifactory, Jmeter, Gatling, Junit, and/or comparable toolsets is a must
Highly organized, energetic, and inquisitive self-starter professional
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and collaborative skills
Strong, detail-oriented team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers or delivering a technical presentation
Experience handling multiple tasks, working in a remote, distributed team-based delivery environment, preferable in agile scrum teams
Demonstrate adherence to all MuleSoft Development best practices with respect to using fragments, templates, logging and error handling frameworks, common data-model design/ validation, property value encryption, considerations when using Object Store, scheduled jobs, duplicate data detection/handling
Preferred
Certified MuleSoft Developer (Mule 4), MuleSoft Developer - Integration and API Associate (Mule 3), MuleSoft Developer - API Design Associate (RAML 1.0), or MuleSoft Developer - Integration Professional (Mule 3) highly desired
