Responsibilities
Plan and administer small decentralized public water systems and waste water systems
Provide leadership in the design of efficient and constructable civil projects
Estimate and budget labor hours for design projects; review job costing reports and take corrective action, as necessary
Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction and ensure that client objectives are met
Mentor young design professionals
Participate in business development opportunities
Participate in professional organizations and functions
Qualification
Required
10+ years' experience as a consulting engineer providing permitting, design and construction of water and wastewater system projects
A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering and professional registration (P.E)
A solid understanding of civil design and construction standards, and environmental conditions / constraints
A proven history of meeting project timelines and budgets
Ability to develop creative engineering solutions to address project constraints
Developing relationships with clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff and management
Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
