Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of New Product Development and Product Improvement projects, owning timelines, deliverables, and overall project success
Build, maintain, and drive integrated project plans that coordinate mechanical, electrical, software, supply chain, and manufacturing activities
Facilitate cross-functional and vendor collaboration by leading meetings, aligning priorities, tracking risks, and ensuring clear action items and ownership
Serve as the voice of the project by driving readiness at each key phase, gate, and handoff—ensuring cross-functional deliverables, dependencies, and decisions are aligned to support successful execution and launch
Proactively identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in project execution or existing processes, and partner with the Project Management Lead and cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions
Manage external vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure alignment on scope, quality expectations, timelines, and readiness
Maintain accurate project documentation, dashboards, and reporting to support decision-making, visibility, and timely escalation when needed
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience leading product development projects that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components within a manufacturing or NPI environment
Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to take accountability for project execution, drive clarity in ambiguous situations, and push work forward without waiting for perfect inputs
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively while balancing speed, quality, and risk
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to serve as the voice of the project and clearly align cross-functional teams around goals, decisions, and next steps
Practical problem-solving skills, with the judgment to identify gaps or risks in execution and collaborate with others to define and implement solutions
A collaborative, team-first approach, with the willingness to roll up sleeves, support peers, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Project Management and NPI teams
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience in product development, including hands-on experience delivering products that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience working within an NPI or stage-based product development lifecycle for physical products
Experience partnering closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive projects from concept through launch
Preferred
PMP or Agile project management certification is a plus
Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools is a strong plus
