Responsibilities
Lead and implement the project QA/QC management system
Coordinate and chair weekly QA/QC meetings with subcontractors
Oversee inspections, mock-ups, first-work reviews, and testing (factory & on-site)
Manage subcontracted testing agencies and QA/QC scopes of work
Review and approve submittals and construction documents
Ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and contracting requirements
Maintain complete QA/QC documentation and as-built records
Partner closely with the site Superintendent and project leadership
Support enclosure systems including waterproofing, air barriers, windows/curtain wall, roofing, and transitions
Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for quality and constructability issues
Support environmental and sustainability reporting (LEED, EPDs, etc.)
Qualification
Required
5+ years in construction field leadership (Quality, Superintendent, or Project Management)
5+ years leading teams and mentoring others
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
Experience managing subcontracted testing scopes
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Preferred
7–10+ years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
Commercial construction experience as a Quality Manager
