Research Track Associate Professor in Neurotechnology

Conduct outstanding independent research in invasive neurotechnology and cognitive neuromodulation
Develop a strong extramurally funded research program
Participate in larger programmatic opportunities
Contribute to the educational mission of the department, including teaching and mentoring of graduate students
Qualification
Required
MD or MD/PhD in Neuroscience or a related field, with a focus on neuromodulation or invasive neurotechnology
Proven track record of conducting both independent and collaborative science, including a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals within the field
Innovative scientific approaches, a commitment to develop an extramurally funded research program
A commitment to advancing the field of neuroscience with a focus on clinical applications and translational research
Preferred
Successful applicants will have demonstrated excellence in research productivity and evidence of, or potential for, extramural funding
Integration of machine learning/AI approaches in research program
