Responsibilities
Set intelligent targets across the business, from top-line growth to bottom-line profitability and nearly all functions in between
Track and analyze performance to hold the business accountable to targets
Lead major planning milestone execution, including periodic business reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and annual planning cycles
Build and seamlessly embed analytical processes (e.g., models, dashboards, trackers) throughout the organization to increase firm-wide intelligence
Drive adoption by smoothing processes and incorporating feedback
Ensure continuity by onboarding stakeholders and documenting relevant details
Inform C-suite decision-making with analytics and modeling
Translate, articulate, and execute the firm’s strategy
Build Board materials and presentations to other key stakeholders (ratings agencies, investors, customers, reinsurers, C-suite, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Experience in consulting, economics, engineering, investment banking, product, or something similarly analytical
Either (1) have an MBA or quantitative graduate degree; or (2) are a strong candidate without an advanced degree
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience in SQL, PowerPoint, and Power BI (or the ability to quickly learn)
Ability to streamline and automate processes to increase speed and accuracy
Excellent communication skills, able to distill complexity into simplicity and know what's relevant vs. what isn't
Comfortable with ambiguity, structured problem solver who takes a first-principles approach and can think on the margin
Document key information to preserve continuity
A doer with low ego, bias for action and enjoy solving complex problems
