Responsibilities
Taking ownership of Americas P&L, including monitoring gross margin and EBIT while supplying supporting commentary on any variance against forecast
Work closely with the Director of FP&A with forecasting, performance, and profitability
Produce monthly financial management report showing key variances and performance highlights
Communicate financial metrics in a coherent manner to other departments outside of finance
Provide timely, relevant, and accurate analytics to management to facilitate decision-making objectives
Develop high-quality Excel-based financial models and other ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making
Drive the Weekly sales forecast, quarterly forecasting, and yearly financial planning for all business units by analyzing its performance and risks
Participate in process improvement initiatives or projects related to business unit objectives
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and guidelines
Qualification
Required
In-depth knowledge of commercial accounting with strong previous exposure to P&L's and monthly performance reporting
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Proficient in the use of MS Office Excel & PowerPoint skills
Knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP HANA, HFM is a plus
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
BS/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus, but not required
10-20% domestic and international travel is required
