Financial Analyst I

Responsibilities
Performs independent reviews and analysis of financial data in support of the various finance functions
Exercises knowledge in the application of accounting principles and technical expertise in financial analysis
Analyze major financial statement lines for reasonableness and variances to prior year activity
Prepares accounting records and financial statements for audit
Analyzes and interprets data, statistics, and financial information
Identifies significant differences in relationships among sources of information
Conducts specialized financial analysis and research on subjects such as rate of return, working capital, financial and expense performance comparison, and cash administration
Prepares reports, providing information related to analyses performed
As assigned, assumes responsibility for special projects involving research and planning
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance functional area and less than 1 year of related experience required
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively, self-starter, ability to work independently required
