Responsibilities
Maintains golf course greens and facilities
Operates irrigation equipment, sets up and mow greens, collects golf balls from driving range and sets-up golf course for daily play
Collects trash on facility grounds as needed, cleans golf carts, and supplies and cleans restrooms as necessary
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to safely operate lawn mowers and lawn care equipment
Ability to perform routine manual labor
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work independently
Ability to cordially provide information and directions to golf course patrons and the general public
Ability to interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner
Ability to display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of city employees, the general public and other organizations
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance
Ability to complete assignments in a timely fashion
Ability to understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance
Ability to perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without a reasonable accommodation
Applicants must be able to pass City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation
