Nourison Home is seeking a Sewer to join their Fabrication Department, responsible for finishing the edges of custom fabricated rugs. The role involves applying various edge finishing techniques, inspecting quality, and maintaining equipment used in the process.

Responsibilities

Finish the edges of custom fabricated rugs
Add edge finishing to custom rug edges
Review each work order paying close attention to details for each order
Apply the appropriate edge finishing per the instructions on the work order
Review / Inspect the quality of edge finish of each piece once completed
Have the Fabrication department manager to check the edge finish for any defects
Ensure that all equipment is used correctly and safely
Maintain all equipment as needed (binding machines, serging machines, scissors etc)
