Programs Manager, Life Enrichment
Army Distaff Foundation is seeking a Programs Manager for their Life Enrichment Department at Knollwood Life Plan Community. The role involves leading Life Enrichment programming and off-campus experiences to enhance the quality of life for residents across various living situations.
Responsibilities
The position manages creative arts and cultural programming, trip planning and execution, vendor relationships, transportation logistics, and trip safety
Responsibilities include daily shuttle trip coordination, functional supervision of drivers, regulatory documentation, and coordination with Human Resources on vehicle operations
The role requires the ability to maintain schedules, manage multiple priorities, and deliver programs consistently without disruption to resident services
Qualification
Required
demonstrated experience in vendor management
project management
budgeting, including contract oversight
timeline management
cost control
financial tracking
relationship-based leadership
trust building with residents, families, drivers, volunteers, and vendors
collaborative practice
mentoring of frontline staff
cross functional teamwork
consistent focus on resident voice, dignity, and choice
Preferred
experience includes fleet management
working knowledge of FMCSA regulations, including driver compliance, inspections, maintenance tracking, and incident response
College graduation is desired
