Responsibilities
Advise the CEO, executive team, and Board on legal, governance, and risk matters
Oversee commercial contracting, including customer, vendor, and real estate agreements
Lead enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and insurance strategy
Partner with HR on employment law matters, investigations, executive agreements, and policies across U.S. and Canadian operations
Support M&A, divestitures, and other strategic transactions
Manage litigation and claims in coordination with outside counsel
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar license
15–20 years of combined law firm and in-house experience
Strong experience advising senior leadership in complex, regulated environments
Industry experience in construction, industrial services, energy, manufacturing, or similar field-based operations is required
Preferred
Experience working with private equity ownership
