The Senior Land Development Engineer will play a key role in leading and delivering private and public land development projects, mentoring junior staff, and partnering closely with clients and internal leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage land development projects from concept through construction

Prepare and oversee site civil design, including: Grading, Drainage and stormwater systems, Utilities, Erosion and sediment control

Coordinate with local municipalities, counties, and reviewing agencies

Oversee permitting and entitlement processes

Provide technical mentorship to engineers and designers

Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards

Required

Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

8+ years of land development experience

Strong knowledge of site civil design and local permitting processes

Experience managing projects and working directly with clients

Preferred

Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred
