In this role, you will manage and enhance security change approval processes, coordinate Cyber Threat Intelligence recommendations, and improve visibility of security activities across the organisation.

Responsibilities
Proactively support and track Security Change Management approval actions to ensure timelines are adhered to and appropriate evidence gathered, including change and security exception requests
Assess and progress technical changes to security services. Prior experience with security solutions (firewalling, web and email filtering, and similar), associated risks (phishing, malware, compromised services), and an understanding of supporting technologies (DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP, SMTP) would be advantageous
Drive continuous improvements within the Security Change Management process, leveraging ServiceNow and cross-team automation, while ensuring all process documentation remains accurate and up to date
Track and support actions arising from Cyber Threat Intelligence recommendations, ensuring they are completed within agreed timelines and providing regular status updates to leadership
Participate in recurring meetings and engagement sessions to ensure alignment, progress tracking, and effective communication across teams
Qualification
Required
Technical/Security based qualification or 1 years' experience within a Technical/Cyber Security environment (GSOC)
Strong communication skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical audiences
Understanding the functions of a Cyber Security Defence Team
Effective organizational skills, detail-orientated, with a track record in Quality Assurance and Task Management
Team player with excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to centrally track and maintain varying actions allowing for status reporting and visibility to leadership, ensuring timelines are met and early indicators of risk are easily identified
Ability to cultivate a positive, security-aware culture within a fast-paced environment
Willingness to develop knowledge specifically focusing on Cyber Security tools and technologies
Preferred
Prior experience with security solutions (firewalling, web and email filtering, and similar) and an understanding of supporting technologies (DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP, SMTP) would be advantageous
