Litigation Attorney
Responsibilities
Assist with real estate litigation matters, including:
Title disputes
Boundary and easement disputes
Landlord–tenant litigation
Quiet title actions
Foreclosure-related matters
Condemnation
Contract and property disputes
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and factual investigation
Assist with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
Appear in South Carolina courts as permitted and appropriate
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Manage case deadlines and support senior attorneys through all phases of litigation
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar
Interest in real estate and civil litigation
Strong legal research and writing skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Professional demeanor and client-focused mindset
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Prior exposure to civil litigation or real estate law
Clerkship, internship, or externship experience
Familiarity with South Carolina court procedures
