Responsibilities
Prepare and file U.S. and foreign trademark applications and post-registration filings (Statements of Use, extensions, Sections 8 & 15, amendments, etc.)
Draft correspondence with clients and foreign associates
Conduct preliminary trademark searches and summarize results for attorneys
Review and summarize USPTO Office Actions
Prepare filing instructions, charts, and reports for clients
Track deadlines and coordinate with the firm’s docketing team
Assist with TTAB matters and trademark litigation support as needed
Prepare agendas for client calls and provide prosecution status updates
Update case notes and maintain organized electronic files
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of trademark experience (paralegal level) or 7+ years (senior level); ideal range is 5–10 years
Solid experience with trademark prosecution (this is essential)
Comfortable handling a mix of substantive and administrative work
Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive
Flexible, team-oriented, and open to feedback
No ego — this role works best for someone collaborative and adaptable
Preferred
Bachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred
