As a Sr. IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end support of financial systems, engaging with leadership to improve business processes and managing the life cycle of technical issues and customization requests.

Responsibilities
Understand the information lifecycle of project and opportunity management, project accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting
Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring collaboration between all impacted decision makers
Educate process owners on system capabilities and facilitate training as needed
Track and troubleshoot incidents to resolution, identifying root cause when applicable
Document requirements and business value using investigative techniques to identify actual needs from vague expectations
Assist software developers with designing solutions and evaluating alternatives
Develop robust test scenarios to validate that solutions meet customer needs
Administer system configurations and security permissions
Other financial system duties as warranted or directed
Qualification
Required
10+ years of relevant work experience
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
Experience with SDLC processes related to testing and documentation
Familiarity with ITIL concepts related to Incident and Change Management
Preferred
TIL, ITSM, or STLC Certification preferred
Backend experience with Accounting ERP systems
