The Generative AI Intern will gain full-stack AI engineering experience while working with underwriting teams to develop and refine AI solutions, contributing to infrastructure and deployment tasks.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine prompts for life insurance application and claims summarization to improve accuracy and relevance for underwriters

Write and execute tests to validate AI model outputs, ensuring summaries meet quality standards

Debug issues in LLM integrations and identify performance bottlenecks

Assist with deploying AI features to AWS environments and managing infrastructure updates

Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure automation

Collaborate with underwriting and product teams to gather feedback and iterate on AI solutions

Document technical implementations and maintain knowledge base for future development

Required

Grade Level: current rising seniors (2027) and currently enrolled master's students

Preferred major: Computer Science/Engineering, Data and Information Science
