Fulcrum Technology Solutions is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect/Engineer to support their M&A team focused on onboarding newly acquired organizations into the Azure environment. The role involves cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and aligning environments with enterprise Azure architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead cloud migrations to Azure for newly acquired companies
Assess existing environments (on-prem, hybrid, or cloud) and design migration approaches
Build and align environments to enterprise Azure landing zone architecture
Deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep)
Automate deployments through YAML-based CI/CD pipelines
Use PowerShell for automation, scripting, and environment configuration
Implement governance: RBAC, policies, networking, security controls
Support multi-cloud scenarios where GCP workloads need integration or migration
Work closely with security, networking, and application teams during integrations
Help standardize infrastructure across acquired entities

Required

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure
Experience with cloud migration projects (not just greenfield builds)
Knowledge of Azure landing zones, governance, and subscription design
Infrastructure as Code experience: Terraform
ARM templates or Bicep
Automation using PowerShell
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using YAML (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
Networking knowledge (VNets, peering, firewalls, hybrid connectivity)
Ability to evaluate and integrate legacy or inherited environments

Preferred

Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience in healthcare environments
Familiarity with Epic systems (Epic Core) infrastructure
Experience supporting M&A or enterprise integrations
