PRAB, Inc. is seeking a Pre-Wire position responsible for forming conduit, wiring, labeling, and debugging conveying equipment. The role involves quality of workmanship, productivity, and collaboration with the Controls Engineering group while ensuring safety and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

Promote excellence throughout the department
Must be able to conduct themselves in a safe manner
Maintain a safe and clean work area
Run conduit, wires, label and test conveying equipment
Read electrical schematics and panel layout drawings with bills of materials
Become familiar with and assemble pneumatic and hydraulic components
Be familiar with construction and operation of shop equipment and maintain it
Continuous improvement is expected in all critical activities such as overall assembly quality, safety, and productivity
Work directly with engineering to sustain scheduled delivery
System test and sign-off before teardown and transfer
Interpretation of Customer specifications
“Ownership” of workmanship
Others as required by supervision

Dedication to excellence and a quality output
Experience forming conduit, wiring, labeling, and debugging conveying equipment
Must be able to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
The employee will supply all basic tools required to perform the responsibilities listed

Preferred

Experience building control panels a plus
Familiarity with NEC a plus
