Responsibilities
Supervise sterile processing technicians and coordinate shift coverage
Oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments
Ensure compliance with ANSI/AAMI standards, IFUs, OSHA, and internal SOPs
Conduct quality audits and maintain accurate documentation
Train, mentor, and support SPD staff development
Coordinate equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Collaborate with leadership and clinical departments to meet operational goals
Support inventory management, KPIs, and continuous quality improvement
Promote infection control, safety, and customer service excellence
Qualification
Required
3+ years of sterile processing experience
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
CRCST certification (required)
Strong knowledge of sterilization standards and infection control
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and timekeeping systems
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
CIS certification
HSPA-CHL or other healthcare leadership certification
College degree or 3+ years of leadership experience
