Responsibilities

Experience designing and operating Azure Arc–enabled Kubernetes clusters in CNCF‑compliant environments

Strong hands‑on experience with Linux (Ubuntu) for edge platforms

Experience with containerization and virtualization for edge deployments (K3s, Docker, lightweight VMs)

Proven ability to integrate IoT and edge solutions with enterprise systems and hybrid cloud architectures

Familiarity with hybrid orchestration models using Azure Arc

Proficiency in Python and experience with one or more of C/C++, Java, Go, React, or Rust

Strong scripting and automation skills using Ansible, Azure CLI, and Linux shell

Experience building automation for provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management

Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models for edge analytics

Hands‑on experience with anomaly detection and predictive maintenance use cases

Knowledge of edge inferencing frameworks and model optimization for constrained environments

Exposure to computer vision or industrial analytics at the edge

Experience with Azure IoT (Azure IoT Hub / AIO) including device provisioning, telemetry ingestion, and cloud‑to‑device messaging

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols: MQTT, OPC UA, CoAP, DDS

Understanding of industrial IoT (IIoT) architectures and vendor ecosystems

Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, RBAC, secure boot, and device security

Experience with API security, vulnerability management, and audit logging

Knowledge of and experience working with industry standards: NIST SP 800‑82, IEC 62443, NERC CIP

Experience supporting compliance audits, risk assessments, and regulatory adherence initiatives

Experience operating across Level 1–3 support models, including: Incident resolution, Bug fixes, Enhancement requests

Familiarity with IT, data, and process governance models

Experience developing operability models, incident workflows, and centralized configuration repositories

Hands‑on experience with sensor and endpoint configuration, site mapping, and system rollout

Experience aligning deployments with operational and support units

Ability to support large‑scale distributed edge environments

Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially for edge and hybrid environments

Experience using DevTest and DevOps tools for: Automated deployment, Rollback, Version management

Understanding of environment promotion strategies for edge workloads

Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as: Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus

Designing and implementing automated incident response

Experience with self‑healing systems and reliability automation

Strong focus on operational visibility and platform stability
