Responsibilities
Apply customer payments accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with established controls
Support day-to-day cash application activities within Accounts Receivable
Research and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash
Partner with internal teams to address payment-related questions and exceptions
Assist with account maintenance, adjustments, and transfers as needed
Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close processes
Maintain documentation and support internal controls and audit requests
Provide a high level of internal and external customer service
Perform additional accounting and administrative support tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting support role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment
Solid Excel skills, including lookup functions (pivot tables a plus)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
