Responsibilities
Own the growth and maintenance of our Figma component and variable libraries, ensuring they are high-quality, up-to-date, and aligned with our design system standards
Partner closely with design system engineers on the design and implementation of design system components and foundations
Collaborate with product teams to design and refine components for web and native apps, ensuring they meet product needs and design system guidelines
Define and evolve scalable frameworks and patterns for AI features that enable dynamic content experiences while preserving design ecosystem consistency, quality, and integrity
Actively support product teams by providing feedback, guidance, and education on using design system components and patterns effectively
Create and maintain design system documentation, ensuring accuracy and discoverability
Understand gaps and opportunities in the design system, contribute to the vision, and pursue investment areas to ensure effectiveness and relevancy of the design system over time
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience as a product or visual designer, including hands-on, collaborative experience building or maintaining a design system for web or mobile apps
Expertise in Figma, including a strong ability to execute design work at a high level of craft and accuracy
Demonstrated success leading workstreams in ambiguous environments and organizations with evolving product development processes
Portfolio showcasing attention to detail, collaborative work, and strong visual design
Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative product development process
Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
