Responsibilities
Join a talented team focused on the development and sustainment of several mission operational SW product lines
Develop new capabilities as coordinated with restricted SCI Customer
Provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of Customer’s national security mission in Ground Enterprise Modernization and Transition Discrepancy Reports (DRs)
Qualification
Required
5 years with Bachelors; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Principal Software Engineer
8 years with Bachelors; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Senior Principal Software Engineer
Active SSBI required at the time of application, and the ability to obtain SCI prior to start
Advanced Object-Oriented programming skills
Proficiency with C++ programming
Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
Preferred
DevSecOps Test Automation experience
Experience with programming/scripting languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Perl
Strong skills in math and algorithms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholders
Previous participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile process
Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
Experience developing in a Linux environment using git
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
Active TS/SCI security clearance
