Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing program policies and procedures
Assist with coordinating a plan of care for residents, and provide information and support for families in coordination with Hospice staff and volunteers
Coordinate pastoral care in support of residents, families, and staff when necessary
Assist with recruitment, training, and supervision of program volunteers
Help keep current the Volunteer Manual, program forms, standards, and policies
Ensure 24-hour coverage utilizing volunteers and on-call per diem staff
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle
1-3 years of experience working with a diverse population
Experience in the medical/death and dying arena
Comfortability to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
