Responsibilities
Lead the research and analysis of competitor information for assigned states, carriers, and products
Monitor competitor filings, websites, and communications to identify new product introductions, features, and market trends
Provide actionable insights to our Research and Development (R&D) and cross-functional teams
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support product managers and Auto, Home, and Commercial Lines collaborators
Suggest strategies based on the competitive landscape
Qualification
Required
A minimum of six years of analytical work experience
OR Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
OR Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience
Preferred
Understanding of insurance concepts, business processes, and systems knowledge
Ability to define problems, collect, and analyze data and draw valid conclusions
Demonstrates the ability to learn and use analytical and programming tools like SAS, SQL, Python, R, and others as needed
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, data display tools such as Tableau/Power BI, and other similar applications
