Sr. Commercial Execution Analyst

Recess is a leading beverage company focused on creating functional, better-for-you beverages. As a Commercial Execution Analyst, you will support the commercial organization by providing tools and insights to enhance performance and efficiency across sales and execution teams.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update commercial reporting tools, dashboards, and scorecards to support Sales and Commercial leadership
Analyze trade, promotional, and retail execution performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and ROI
Support the monthly S&OP process with reporting and data inputs related to demand, trade, and execution
Partner with Revenue Growth Management to track trade spend and efficiency
Collaborate with Sales and Shopper Marketing to ensure commercial programs are measurable and reported consistently
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting support to Sales, Finance, and Commercial Strategy teams
Help standardize processes and reporting across accounts, channels, and regions
Work with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) and internal sales data to provide actionable insights
Continuously improve tools, reporting, and data processes to enable commercial efficiency at scale

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
2–4 years of experience in commercial operations, sales analytics, finance, or related field (CPG preferred)
Strong analytical skills with ability to manage and interpret complex data sets
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools a plus
Familiarity with syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) and retail reporting
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Strong communication skills, with ability to explain insights clearly to cross-functional partners
Collaborative mindset, with ability to work across sales, finance, supply chain, and marketing teams
Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
