1+ years expMactac North America is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to perform laboratory testing of physical properties of various raw materials and products. The role involves conducting routine QC tests, supporting the Quality and R&D departments, and ensuring product quality through various testing methods.

Responsibilities
Supporting operations with QC testing including retesting of product placed on hold for quality defects
Reviewing MRA customer returns as part of the claims analysis, dispositioning and placing MRS, finished goods on hold as required
Incoming inspection of purchased products as required
Dock audits for finished goods
Auditing SOP's and checklists as part of the corrective action process
Performs other duties as needed and assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalency
1 – 3 years of experience. Industry related experience (i.e. coatings, structural adhesives, packaging adhesives, hot melt carton-sealing adhesives, plastics compounding) may be acceptable
Valid driver's license
Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact will all levels of personnel within Mactac
Working knowledge of personal computers (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Math skills with emphasis on measurable impact of mathematical calculations
Ability to interpret and apply finished product engineering specifications
Ability to work independently
Legal authorization to work in the US is required
Applicants must have at least six months of tenure in their current role and be in good performance standing at the time of application
Preferred
Two year degree preferred with emphasis on Math and Chemistry highly desirable
