Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and coordinate in-house product training programs
Prepare training materials, course content, lesson plans, and training aids
Determine training methodologies and develop criteria to evaluate training effectiveness
Conduct classroom, skills-based, and on-the-job training in assembly and production areas
Support development and implementation of new training programs, processes, and manufacturing sequences
Maintain training rosters, examination results, and certification records
Monitor trainee progress and ensure compliance with training requirements
Continuously update lesson plans to reflect new processes and technical changes
Qualification
Required
6+ years of hands-on experience in machining environments (CNC and/or manual machining)
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, feeds and speeds, and materials
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
4–6+ years of experience developing and delivering technical training programs
Proven ability to conduct classroom, skills-based, and on-the-job training
Experience creating lesson plans, training materials, and evaluation criteria for adult learners
4–6+ years of experience working in manufacturing or production environments
Experience supporting new process implementation, work instructions, or production sequencing
Ability to track training progress, maintain certification records, and evaluate trainee competency
Candidates must be able to work one of the following schedules (Monday–Thursday): First Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM or Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Yes – Up to 4 months of training in Virginia prior to returning to Charleston, SC
Primary Work Location: Charleston, SC (post-training)
Onsite Position: Remote work is not available

6 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's degree in a related field
