Responsibilities
Oversee the management and implementation of all elements related to the organization and execution of the Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum, serving as the cross-Council “lead” and point-of-contact during the organization of the Global Energy Forum
Manage the completion of key elements related to the organization of the Global Energy Forum, coordinating with relevant project teams and core leads to ensure the timely execution of: Agenda development and speaker outreach; Event logistics, such as audiovisual/production assets, food/beverage requirements, sponsor benefits, with particular focus on logistics for sideline programming; Attendee registration platform, including management of dedicated event inbox; An external communications plan in the lead-up to and during the Global Energy Forum; Guest experience assets, such as the coordination of hotel room blocks and bilateral meeting spaces; Audience development and outreach
Serve as the primary team lead and coordinator of all sideline events related to the Global Energy Forum, including: Leaders Council Dinner; Global Energy Forum Welcome Reception; Partner sideline lunches and dinners, in coordination with relevant content leads from the Global Energy Center
Lead coordination of logistics for Global Energy Forum speakers
Qualification
Required
2+ years of combined professional experience in project management, events, or program development
Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously and a demonstrated ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with both junior-level and senior-level colleagues
Ability to dynamically and effectively represent the Atlantic Council to external constituencies, such as corporate executives, senior government officials, diplomats, board members, and donors
Excellent writing and editing skills
Accomplished track-record in fundraising and financial management
Self-starter who can balance multiple tasks and remain flexible, adaptive, and positive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, logistical, and administrative skills
Preferred
Experience coordinating large-scale events
Interest or experience in international affairs, energy markets, or geopolitics
