Responsibilities

Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through contract negotiation to secure purchase orders
Demonstrate a high level of creativity in crafting solutions that meet the unique needs of diverse international clients
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction
Lead and implement strategic initiatives to expand Ocean Aero's market presence international areas
Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve sales targets and objectives
Identify emerging markets, assessing competitive landscapes, and capitalizing on opportunities for growth
Demonstrate expertise in FMS, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), and the overall budget security assistance cycle
Navigate complex regulatory environments and establish strong relationships with foreign Ministries of Defense
Providing guidance on policy matters, compliance, and risk mitigation related to international defense contracts
Utilize exceptional networking and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain connections with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers
Foster relationships with defense officials, industry leaders, and potential partners to enhance Ocean Aero's global presence
Collaborate with international organizations and associations to strengthen industry partnerships
Leverage experience working overseas to navigate cultural nuances and establish effective collaborations
Adapt and strategize in diverse international business environments
Provide insights into geopolitical considerations and local market dynamics
Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with Ocean Aero's objectives
Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the defense and maritime sectors
Conduct thorough market research to inform strategic decision-making

Required

Minimum of 10 years of US defense and international sales experience
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree, or a combination of a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minimum of 10 years of experience as described herein
US Government position. US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance and US Passport
Successfully pass drug test, background check, and motor vehicle screening
Ability to travel (domestic and internationally)
