Responsibilities
Serving uninsured and under-insured patients, assisting by acting as a liason between our patients and the state
Working pre-admission work list, incoming screening calls when needed
Following up on PE's to move to a full screening
Filling Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF applications with FSSA as well as assist with Marketplace applications
Qualification
Required
For those serving as the Individual Solutions Coordinator (ISC), a current Indiana State Navigator's license is required. This is expected to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance
Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills
Requires effective written and verbal communication skills
Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships
Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives
Preferred
At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred
