Computational Electro-Magnetic (CEM) Sr. LO Engineer

Responsibilities

Stealth- design & analysis using computational electro-magnetics (CEM)
You’re expected to perform RCS predictions and should be familiar with limitations of Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM)
Deliverables will include test documentation, data analysis, anomaly resolution, results documentation, and presentation of results to both internal and external customers
You will work in integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products and aid in the assessment of system performance
The selected individual will document all activities pertaining to data analysis, design trades, prediction results, and others
You will work within integrated product teams and support all aspects of that team’s design efforts
Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers
Occasional travel for business, training, and conferences
Provide effective personal interaction and collaboration with technical team and customers
Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership
Will provide project management including the ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs, or systems

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Minimum Five (5) years of engineering experience, which must include Low Observable (LO) technology or Radar Cross Section or Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM) or 3 years relevant experience with an advance degree
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Preferred

Experience with LO design, analysis, and validation methodologies
Experience with RCS analysis tools such as X-Patch, SENTRi, McMoM2D, FEKO, HFSS, CST or other company specific Computational Electro-Magnetics (CEM) analysis packages
Experience with CAD software packages such as NX, CATIA, CREO, ProE
Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
Experience with Infrared signature analysis and control
Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or other technical language is desirable
Presentation skills and ability to communicate with peers, executives and customers
Advanced Degree: Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or other Engineering discipline
