Responsibilities

Generate new customer meetings that translate into identified and qualified new sales opportunities
Identify New Business prospects through cold emails, cold calls, LinkedIn, as well as networking, and initiating sales conversations with relevant stakeholders
Proactively source new sales opportunities through prospection, follow-up, and outreach
Develop relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning to qualify interest and viability to prepare hand-off to sales
Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns (webinars, white papers, marketing events)
Record sales activity and enter all relevant information about prospects into Salesforce
Stay up to date with new products/services
Collaborate and provide feedback and insights to Marketing to help improve targeting and messaging

Required

A year of experience in sales
Proven success prospecting, generating leads, and securing first meetings with relevant stakeholders at Tier 1 and 2 insurance institutions
Some B2B sales experience with proven performance against KPIs or similar role selling B2B software or SaaS solutions to financial institutions
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience with CRM Software (Salesforce Preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Strong business acumen with the ability to speak knowledgeably and articulate a focused message to sophisticated buyers
Highly motivated and constantly aiming to improve
Start-up mindset comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment
Highly structured, keeping up with deadlines and various contributors
